Velocity
The sum of story points on the work items a team completed in one sprint. The Scrum Guide does not define velocity. It is a planning aid for that team. It is not a count of hours, not deployment frequency, and not a unit that can be compared across teams as time. Adding the velocities of several sprints does not produce a larger velocity. The reading belongs to one sprint. Velocity is not a DORA delivery metric.
