How meaninggraph.io uses Google Analytics and Google-hosted resources, and the one choice you control: analytics. Effective 20 October 2026.

This website

meaninggraph.io is a public website and semantic catalog. It has no accounts, no advertising and does not sell data. The contribution dialog creates a draft that is downloaded to your device; nothing you type into it is sent to us.

Fonts from Google

To display the site, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) on every page, this one included. For these loads Google receives your IP address and browser details. They set no analytics cookies and do not depend on your analytics choice. When you type in the registry search box, your search text is sent to the registry search service at search.openvaultdb.com, which is not a Google service.

Analytics

Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, runs on meaninggraph.io only if you choose “Accept analytics” in the analytics banner. Until you accept, no analytics script loads and no analytics cookie is set.

After you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>, kept for up to two years) and receives the page address and the referring page address without any query or fragment, browser and device information, and an approximate location that Google derives from your IP address. Google Signals and advertising features are switched off.

The legal basis is your consent. We keep Google Analytics event data for no longer than 14 months.

Your choice and withdrawing it

Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage, key meaninggraph.analytics-consent.v1). You can change it at any time with “Analytics choices” in the site footer or the button below. Choosing “Reject” stops analytics and deletes the _ga cookies on this site.
