Sprint
A fixed-length iteration in which a team takes on a set of work items. In Scrum a sprint lasts at most one month. It has a start day and an end day. Work left unfinished stays a work item. It does not become a property of the sprint. A sprint may be run inside a project and may be recorded with none. The Scrum Guide does not make a sprint a part of a project, and it does not define story points or velocity. A sprint is not a release and not a deployment.
