Acceptance criterion
A condition that must be met before a user story, a requirement, or a service is accepted. ITIL states acceptance criteria for a service or a service component. Business analysis uses them for the minimum a solution must meet to be acceptable to key stakeholders, and delivery teams attach them to a user story. It is not the story text, not the requirement, and not a flow inside a use case. It is not an evaluation criterion, which ranks alternative solutions. One story or requirement can have several criteria. The plural acceptance criteria is the same concept.
