Service request
A request from a user, or from that user's authorized representative, that starts a service action already agreed as a normal part of delivery, such as granting access or supplying information. Nothing has to have failed, so a service request is not an incident. It is not a change request. A standard change, pre-authorized for that kind of request, may be how the request is fulfilled. The request and the change stay different records.
