GeoNames source projection
Source-qualified GeoNames countries, places, admin1 and alternate names, retaining native keys, historic country rows and unresolved references. Auxiliary demo country bridges preserve separate source property scopes; their target bindings alone do not authorize raw-label interoperability. Model and meaning metadata are CC0-1.0; source GeoNames data is CC-BY-4.0.

What GeoNames source projection defines
Provider admin1 rows identified by the raw country.admin1 composite, including unresolved country references. These codes are not universally ISO3166-2.
Native alternate-name rows with exact language, text, flags and periods for retained feature IDs.
Country or territory records as retained in the pinned GeoNames countryInfo snapshot.
One native GeoNames gazetteer feature in the selected ID union. All original feature classes/codes remain available; this does not extend core city.
Exact native alpha2 target code in each separately scoped reviewed bridge. No raw label acceptance is inferred from these target-property bindings.
